PaintLab ("PaintLab," "we," "us") is a New York painting company providing interior painting, wallpaper installation, limewash and wall finishing services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through paintlab.io (the "Website"), our online advertising and forms, and when you contact us by phone, email or text, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a free estimate or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, the address or building details of your project, a description of your project, photos you send us, and any other information you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Website, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page or ad that referred you, date and time of your visit, approximate location, and cookie or similar identifiers.
Google Ads lead forms. If you submit a form shown in our Google ad, Google provides us with the information you entered and basic campaign information. Google handles that information under its own privacy policy and does not use the content of your responses for ad targeting or measurement.
Phone calls. When you call us, we may receive your phone number and basic call details. We do not record calls without telling you first.
2. How we use information
We use your information to:
- respond to your request, prepare estimates and schedule visits;
- perform and manage painting and finishing services, including building access, insurance certificates (COI) and scheduling;
- contact you by phone, email or text message about your request, estimate or project;
- operate, secure and improve the Website;
- measure how our website and advertising perform;
- comply with legal, tax and insurance obligations and protect against fraud.
3. Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversion measurement and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Website and how well our advertising works. You can control these technologies by:
- adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies;

Do Not Track. The Website does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as needed with:
- service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting and form processing (Tilda Publishing), email, scheduling and customer-management tools, and advertising and analytics providers (Google);
- painters and subcontractors who perform your project, limited to the details they need;
- building managers, co-op or condo boards and insurers, when needed to obtain access or insurance certificates for your project, and only at your request;
- authorities, when required by law or to protect rights and safety;
- a successor, in a merger, sale or transfer of our business.
5. Calls and text messages
By giving us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about your request, estimate or project. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
6. How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above, and as required for legal, tax, insurance and warranty purposes.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing paintlab1986@gmail.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know what we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to not be treated unfairly for exercising these rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we respond within the time required by law.
9. Children
Our services and Website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-party links
The Website may link to third-party sites, such as Yelp or Google Maps. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
